The Core of Christianity Conference

As of July 7, 2010, the conference portion of this event with Dr. Neil T. Anderson is now FREE! We will be taking up a freewill offering to cover expenses. You still need to register for this event, as space is limited. Registration deadline is Thursday, July 29, 2010.

The Saturday workshop and meals will cost $100 per person. Accommodations remain your own responsibility.

The one thing Jesus focused on when He prayed for those who would come after His first disciples is that we would be one. Psalm 133 tells us that where there is unity, God commands a blessing. Real heart-unity is an issue of the utmost importance for the church. It will show the world that we are His disciples. It will bring blessing to our land. Can there be a more important issue facing us today?

How do we get to genuine heart-unity from where we are today? What can an individual leader or Christian do to help make it happen? Over the last few years Dr. Anderson has found these questions weighing heavily on him. In his newest book The Core of Christianity he seeks to answer this with a challenge to the church. With clear, biblical directives, this conference will bring certainity and focus on this issue of unity through the teaching of Dr. Anderson. We will learn to avoid the pitfalls of worldly teachings as we will study key verses, find balance between extremes, follow God’s will and embrace examples of Christ-centered living.

This conference will be located on the beautiful grounds of Nottawasaga Inn Resort, just north of Toronto in Alliston, Ontario. We hope you will take advantage of the special price of $128/night (plus HST) and stay at the resort during this conference (you must book your room directly with the resort, just ask for the "Freedom in Christ August" promo rate). However, you don’t have to stay at the resort to attend this conference. This location is only 45 minutes north of Toronto and 20 minutes south of Barrie, if you choose to drive.

In addition to the conference, we will be hosting a golf tournament with Dr. Anderson on Saturday, August 7th. For those who have a passion for the game of golf, you can substitute the workshop with this special golfing event on the river’s edge in the beautiful Nottawasaga Valley. (This will be an additional cost of $100 that includes 18 holes of championship golf and golf cart).
